Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan became known in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger, which she performed in the soap series Neighbors which ran for 100 episodes that were broadcast from 2006 through 2007. She arrived in Hollywood by way of two shows beginning with the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine, where she played a young actress coming to Hollywood. The girl was born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson grew up in Sydney's southern beaches suburb of Cronulla. She competed in her first National Level of Swimming as when she was a teenager. She also held four State Records throughout the course of her high school. Sharni started singing, dancing and acting in her early years as young children, becoming the third generation of her family who performed. Sharni's mother performed in musical theater and her grandmother who was the youngest ballerina of 1945, was given a place on the Borovansky Ballet Company. Sharni began her ballet training at the Brent Street School of Performing Arts, Sydney. She trained for 10 years in every aspect of the art.
