Francia Raisa

Raisa started to pursue acting jobs in her senior year in high school. She started acting in print ads, and appearing in commercials. She appeared as a guest on American Family Journey of Dreams and Over There. Raisa was Tamy in Lil' Romo's 2004 music video "My Girlfriend". She also appeared as Iyaz on the video "So Huge". One month into her graduation, she landed one of her first leading roles, starring opposite Hayden Panettiere on Bring It On: All or Nothing. The actress also appeared in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules, where she played Isabel, and in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream as well as The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. The role she played was that of the leading character as Adrian Lee on the ABC Family show The Secret Life of the American Teenager from July 2008 to the final episode of the series in June of 2013. In 2009 Raisa played Boo on the film Boo written by David Henrie in addition to guest-starring in USA Network TV's In Plain Sight. 2013 was the year that Raisa appeared in the festive film Christmas Bounty alongside Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. Raisa from August 2012 2018, until 2022 Raisa appeared on the Freeform show, Grown-ish, created by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris. She was a part of the season's initial four seasons before exiting upon the character's graduation towards the end of Season 4. In addition, she starred on the 2018 film on television by Freeform, Life-Size 2, opposite Tyra Banks. Her role on her role in the sequel to How I Met Your Mother series How I Met Your Father was officially announced by Hulu on January 18, 2022.
